Updated this week

The Presentation Live screen is where StreamAlive’s audience interactions (polls, word clouds, maps, spinner wheels, etc.) are shown to your audience.

Simply share this screen in your meeting or livestream, and your audience will be able to see the interactions come alive as they type in the chat.

This screen serves as the bridge between your presentation and your audience, turning static sessions into dynamic conversations.

Why Do You Need It?

  • Visualizing participation: Audience responses are displayed in beautiful visuals.

  • Boosting interaction: It encourages real-time engagement, transforming passive viewers into active participants.

  • Enhancing communication: Live visuals make it easier to interpret audience responses at a glance, whether you're teaching, presenting, or hosting a live stream.

How Do You Use It?

  1. Set Up Interactions: Before your session, prepare your StreamAlive presentation with polls, word clouds, etc. using the [presentation builder].

You don’t need to set up your interactions in advance, you can also use the [Easy Interaction Links] to launch a poll in seconds.

  2. Share Your Screen: Ensure your audience can see the Presentation Live screen by sharing it via your meeting platform (e.g., [Zoom], [Teams], or [other streaming platforms]). This step is crucial—your audience won’t see the interactive visuals unless you share your screen.

  3. Engage Live: Once your screen is shared, StreamAlive will dynamically update the Presentation Live screen as your audience responds, creating an interactive and immersive experience.

Moving through your slides

Simply use the forward and backward buttons located on the in-app panel to your bottom left to move through your interactions.

You can see the upcoming slides and interactions and skip ahead if needed.

Running and Resetting Interactions

The stop, start, reset and edit buttons are your key to running the interactions as you planned. When you stop an interaction, it gets replaced with the restart button.

Stop: Use this to pause an interaction when you don’t want answers to be accepted from the chat.

Restart: Use this to restart your interactions when you want answers to be accepted from the chat.

Edit: If you are finding the occasional unrelated comment showing up during your interaction, simply click edit on the top right corner to remove the unwanted responses.

Going back to an interaction

If you revisit an interaction that you have already moved on from, StreamAlive will simply recreate the final interaction with all the answers that were left on screen before the interaction ended. For Transient Thoughts and Quick Questions, it will list the comments.

Adding new interactions on the fly

While running through your run of show during a live session, feel free to improvise with some new interactions on the fly. How do you access these? Simply select it from the top of the left in-app panel. Choose whichever interaction you hope to run, and set it up the same way you would when planning out your RoS.

Find audience intelligence features to be constantly available under the subheading "Track" on the left auto-hiding panel.

Joining Instructions

If someone joins your session late, simply pull up the instructions for people to join your session here at the QR code icon.

Commenters

You can view the number of people who have commented during your live session on the bottom right of the screen. Once you exceed the number of commenters provided in your plan, comments from others will not be shown.
