1. Download and Add the StreamAlive App
Open Microsoft AppSource: Within your Microsoft Teams application, navigate to the "Apps" section (usually found on the left-hand sidebar).
Search for StreamAlive: Use the search bar to find "StreamAlive".
Add to Teams: Click on the StreamAlive app and follow the prompts to add it to your Microsoft Teams environment.
2. Schedule Your Teams Meeting
Create a Meeting: Schedule your Microsoft Teams meeting for a future date and time. This is important as the StreamAlive app integrates with scheduled meetings.
Open Meeting Details: Navigate to your scheduled meeting within the Teams calendar and join your call.
Add a Tab: Click the "+" icon at the top of the meeting window to add a new tab.
Search for StreamAlive: Search for and select the "StreamAlive" app from the list of available apps.
Add the App: Follow the prompts to add StreamAlive as a tab to your meeting. You may be asked to agree to permissions.
3. Presenting with StreamAlive in Your Meeting
Join Your Meeting: When it's time to present, join your scheduled Microsoft Teams meeting.
Log In: You will be prompted to log in to your StreamAlive account. Ensure you use the same email and password you use for the StreamAlive web application where you created your presentations.
Open StreamAlive Tab: Click on the "StreamAlive" tab at the top of the meeting window.
Start Presentation: After selecting your presentation, you will see a "Present" button (represented by a play icon). Do not use the "Share" button in Teams at this stage.
Automatic Connection: Clicking "Present" will automatically connect StreamAlive to your Teams meeting. You will not need to enter any meeting URLs or codes. The "Presentation Live" view will open directly within the StreamAlive tab.
Interact as Usual: Use the controls within the StreamAlive tab (the "Presentation Live" view) to run your polls, quizzes, Q&A sessions, and other interactive elements. Your audience will participate through the Teams meeting chat.
4. Disconnecting StreamAlive
End Session: When you have finished your interactive session, click the "Disconnect" button within the StreamAlive tab (the "Presentation Live" view).
By following these steps, you can seamlessly integrate StreamAlive's interactive power directly into your Microsoft Teams meetings, creating engaging and dynamic experiences for your participants. Remember to have your presentation prepared beforehand on the StreamAlive web application.
