Why won't StreamAlive connect to my Zoom meeting?

Suppose the bot fails to join the Zoom meeting, here are some ways that you can try to fix the issue:

1. Check your internet connection

Sometimes the issue could be that the internet connection is slow or unavailable. Please ensure that there is a proper internet connection for the bot to join smoothly.

2. Check waiting room

If you have the waiting room enabled, please ensure that you admit the bot into the session. You can do this by:

Clicking the Participants tab

Search for StreamAlive in the pop-up window. Click on the Admit button.

3. Try reconnecting

Go to the StreamAlive tab and click on the Disconnect button.

You will then be taken back to the sessions tab, where you can reconnect by clicking on the Continue to present button.

4. Check if you have “authentication required” switched on

If you have switched on the “require authentication to join”, the bot won’t be able to join. Please switch off this feature to allow the bot to access the meeting.

5. Check if you have switched on registrations for the meeting.

If registration is required for the meeting/session, please remember to distinguish the actual meeting link from the registration link.Upon connecting to a session, use only the meeting link.

6. Get Support

After following these troubleshooting steps, if the StreamAlive bot still isn’t connecting to your meeting, please use the live chat in the bottom right hand corner of this screen to get further support and have someone from our team investigate the problem further.
