Zoom App FAQ
Updated over a week ago

If you have questions about StreamAlive's Zoom Application, you've come to the right place. If you can't find your question on the below list, please contact us at the blue chat bubble in the lower right of your screen, or reach out to us at [email protected].

  1. How do I find the StreamAlive Zoom Application?

We are currently still in Beta mode, but once we have completed the review process at Zoom, you can find us in the Zoom App Marketplace. Simply use the search bar to look for "StreamAlive".

  2. How do I create my own Run of Show?

You need to log into the application to create your own Run of Show. From Guest Mode, you can only access our RoS templates. You can only create and edit these from the Zoom Client or our web app. You will not be able to create or make changes to a RoS once you are inside an active meeting.

  3. How do I log into the app?

Log into the StreamAlive Zoom app at the top right of your screen. Click on the "G" profile, and press "Login". Once you have done so, simply enter your email and wait for the OTP to arrive. If you do not have an existing StreamAlive account, you can create one by choosing "Sign up now".

  4. Why do you have a guest mode?

We have a guest mode so that Zoom users can try the StreamAlive app and see interactions in action before committing to creating a free account.

  5. Do meeting participants have to add the StreamAlive app from their end?

No, only one person needs to have StreamAlive added to the meeting. We recommend this to be the host of the meeting, but anyone can use the app as long as the StreamAlive bot can be admitted to the meeting.

If you have any more questions regarding the platform itself, please check out our troubleshooting and FAQ documentation. If you still have questions, simply reach out to us as detailed above.
