Before finding the perfect plan for you, we recommend that you go through what participant credits are.

Participant Credits Explained

Participant credits are used when audience members engage during a live session (for example, responding to polls, word clouds, quizzes, or maps).

  • One participant credit = one unique participant engaging in a session

  • Credits reset monthly on monthly plans

  • Credits are pooled annually on annual plans

Example 1:

You are on the Engage monthly plan, which has 100 participant credits per month. You do an event with 80 attendees, but only 50 participate in the interactions. You have used 50 participant credits and have 50 left. You do another event in the same month with 60 participant,s and 40 participate. You now have 10 participant credits left.

Example 2:

You are on the Engage Plus annual plan, which has 6,000 participant credits per year. You run a company-wide town hall with 10,000 employees on Teams. 8,000 employees participate. The first 6,000 participants in the interaction have their responses recorded; the remaining 2,000 do not have their responses recorded because you have run out of participant credits.

In this case, you should email StreamAlive in advance and ask to buy more participant credits if you think you’ll need more.

Participant credits:

  • 100 participant credits per month (monthly plan)

  • 1,200 participant credits per year (annual plan)

    • Receive all 1,200 credits upfront when you purchase the annual plan

Buying additional participant credits

You can buy additional participant credits any time. Pricing starts at $20 for 100 credits.
