The StreamAlive App available in the Zoom marketplace is a more seamless way for our Zoom users to connect to StreamAlive and start their interactions because it doesn’t require logging in to StreamAlive on your browser.
The App allows users to access their created presentations or even run impromptu interactions directly from the Zoom desktop client.
Adding the StreamAlive Zoom App
To add the app to your Zoom client, follow these steps:
1. On the homepage of the Zoom client, click on the “Apps” tab listed on the horizontal bar menu.
2. Click on the “Add Apps” subtab
3. Search for “StreamAlive” on the search bar located on the left-hand side menu
The search result will appear on the right. Click on “Get” to install the app in the Zoom Client.
4. Once downloaded, “Get” will change to “Add”.
Click on “Add” to list the app under the “My Apps” subtab.
5. A new pop-up will appear asking for permission.
Click on “Allow”.
6. With this, you have successfully added the StreamAlive App to your Zoom Client. You can access the App by going to the “My Apps” sub-tab under the main Apps tab.
Removing the StreamAlive Zoom App
To remove the app, follow the steps below:
1. Go to the “Apps” tab found on the horizontal bar menu.
2. Click on the “Settings” button on the top right side of the screen.
3. A pop-up settings window will appear. Click on “Manage Apps”.
4. Upon clicking, the Zoom client will redirect you to the Zoom website where you will be asked to sign in.
If you have already signed in, go to the next step.
5. Zoom will take you to the “Added Apps” tab within the “Personal App Management” page in the Zoom marketplace.
Search for “StreamAlive” in the “Apps in Production” subtab and then click Remove.
6. A pop-up will appear asking for the reason for the removal. (This is optional)
Click on “Remove” to finalize the process.
7. With this, the app has been successfully removed.
