How do I find the Zoom Meeting link/Webinar Panelist link?

When scheduling a Zoom session in StreamAlive, you’ll be prompted to enter your meeting link or panelist link depending on whether it’s a meeting or webinar.

This link is essential for StreamAlive’s bot to connect to the correct session and enable its powerful interaction features.

If you’re unsure where to find your Zoom link or what it looks like, don’t worry—this guide is here to help.

Let’s get started and find that link so you can deliver an engaging and interactive session!

Before jumping into the help doc, please note that:

  1. Zoom prevents bots from joining meetings that require authentication which means the streamalive bot cannot join your Zoom meetings if you have this enabled. Please ensure that you disable this option when scheduling a meeting in Zoom.

  2. If you’re asking attendees to register beforehand for your meeting or webinar, please use the meeting link (explained below) and not the registration link to connect StreamAlive with your Zoom meeting.

    You’ll have to use the panelist link (explained below) irrespective of Registration for Zoom webinars.

  3. The Zoom meeting link must include the password if the meeting is password-protected. The meeting link should be in this format:
    https://zoom mtg link?pwd=passcode


With these in mind, let us look at how we can find the meeting links:

Zoom Meeting Link

  1. From the Zoom Website:

    1. Sign in to your Zoom account

    2. ​Navigate to the “Meetings” tab.

      The meetings tab allows you to manage all of your meetings.

    3. Click on Upcoming.

      All your future scheduled meetings will be listed here. Search for the required meeting. Once found, click on its title to see the meeting details.

    4. Search for “Invite Link” and copy it

  2. From the Zoom Client

    1. On the home page of the Zoom client, click on the “Meetings” tab on the horizontal bar menu.

    2. Find and click on the required meeting

    3. You can find the meeting link by clicking View meeting info or under the description.

  3. During the meeting:

    To find the meeting link during your Zoom meeting, you can either:

    1. Click on the ^ button on the Participants tab

    2. Next, click on the Copy Invite Link option to copy the meeting link.


      Or,

    3. Click on the green shield icon on the top left corner of the screen.

    4. A pop-up will appear listing the meeting information.
      Click on the Copy Link button under the meeting link to copy it.


Zoom Webinar Panelist Link

Here is how you can find the panelist link:

  1. Fill in your login details and click on Sign in

  2. Go to the Webinar tab

  3. Find your upcoming webinar and click on the title to open up its details

  4. Go to the invitations tab and click on Edit in the Invite Panelists section

  5. Add the email that you want to receive the panelist link and click on Save Changes

  6. Find the email that has been sent and copy the panelist link as shown in the images.
