Authorizing StreamAlive access to your Zoom

Updated this week

Why Authorize Your Zoom Account?

Authorizing your Zoom account with StreamAlive unlocks a smoother and more integrated experience, especially when joining Zoom meetings or webinars that require registration. By granting StreamAlive permission, you can bypass the need to manually register the bot for these sessions, allowing you to seamlessly use StreamAlive's interactive features.

Important Note: This functionality assumes that the registration for the Zoom meeting or webinar does not have any mandatory questions that you are required to answer. If the registration requires specific information beyond basic entry, you still need to complete the registration process manually through Zoom.

How to Authorize Your Zoom Account?

  1. Go to Sessions

  2. Add a new session

  3. Select Zoom as the platform

  4. Now, click on “Authorize your Zoom account.”

  5. Review Permissions: On the Zoom authorization page, you will see a list of permissions that StreamAlive is requesting. Review these permissions carefully.
    Once done, click on Allow

  6. You can de-authorize whenever you'd like
